Ornamental Pruning

Fully half of our work during the growing season involves detailed pruning of ornamental tree and shrub species. These smaller plants bring an aesthetic fullness to landscapes that is hard to explain in words. As it turns out, the same principles that we follow for the health and beauty of your tall oak also apply to your specimen Japanese maple, Catsura tree, Redbud, or Lilac, to name just a few. And just like those large trees, your ornamentals really thrive when we bring just exactly the right amount of pruning to bear.

We would love to discuss the current state of your landscape plants, and make a plan to help them fulfill their whole potential.
